Strategic Sales Manager

Job Information

Verve Mobile is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to join the National Ad Sales Team. The Strategic Sales Manager will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer. Candidates will need to have extensive experience in digital media sales and possess a deep understanding of mobile media.


  • Develop creative and innovative brand solutions for use in soliciting new and existing clients
  • Manage the creation of customized, integrated sales presentations
  • Provide updates of assigned brand integration projects
  • Create and deliver status reports to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met on projects
  • Set priorities and manage work flow of sales-based projects
  • Liaise with internal departments and clients to guarantee execution of all integrated sales programs
  • Maintain good working relationships with Ad Sales, Marketing, Publishing and Finance
  • Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders throughout the organization to understand the capabilities of product offerings
  • Conduct an analysis of various sales programs and report on trends and new solutions
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of consumer advertising sales experience within digital, non-traditional, out-of-home, print, cable and/or integrated media (mobile experience preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Exceptional consultative and solutions-driven sales skills
  • Hungry for new business
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Have a strategic vision for mobile marketing development and revenue growth
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple high-level projects with attention to detail
  • Possess strong project management and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel (20%)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree
