Regional Vice President, West Coast, National Ad Sales

Job Information

Verve Mobile is seeking a Regional Vice President to join the National Ad Sales Team and spearhead sales efforts in the Western territory. The RVP will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and manage a team of Regional Sales Directors. Candidates will need to have extensive experience in digital media sales and possess a deep understanding of mobile media.

Responsibilities:

  • Evangelize Verve Mobile’s advertising solutions among media and advertising agencies (traditional and digital)
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities
  • Manage current client relationships and grow existing business
  • Sell Verve Mobile advertising packages and help develop new ad packages based on client and prospect needs
  • Manage all aspects of the sales function including the development of new and incremental business by seeking out new clients, determining needs and proposing the appropriate Verve Mobile programs
  • Collaborate with marketing, ad services, publisher services and ad ops teams to fulfill and execute advertising programs sold

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of consumer advertising sales experience within digital, non-traditional, out-of-home, print, cable and/or integrated media
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Exceptional consultative and solutions-driven sales skills
  • Hungry for new business
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Have a strategic vision for mobile marketing development and revenue growth
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple high-level projects with attention to detail
  • Possess strong project management and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree
